About Peter S. Barre, MD
Peter S. Barre, M.D., received his medical degree from Michigan State University in 1978. After a surgical internship at the University of Texas at Houston and two years as a Medical Officer for The Indian Health Service, Dr. Barre completed his Orthopaedic Residency and hand fellowship at Case Western Reserve University.
Dr. Barre is board-certified in orthopaedic surgery and has completed the requirements for certification for Added Qualifications for Surgery of the Hand. Recertification is valid through December 31, 2019 in Hand Surgery and Orthopaedic surgery.
Dr. Barre is a Diplomate of the American Board of Orthopaedic Surgery and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgery. He is a member of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand and Orthopaedic Research Society. He has been in practice in Dayton, Ohio since 1986 and is licensed to practice medicine in Michigan & Ohio.
