Burn Care
Affiliated with one of only six adult burn centers in Ohio, our doctors have been providing advanced burn care at the Miami Valley Hospital Regional Adult Burn Center since 1975. Our team is sensitive to the particular challenges facing people with burn injuries. We maintain close contact with you, your family and each other to create and carry out a care plan that promotes maximum healing and recovery.
Our board-certified physicians, experienced in burn care, treat both adults and adolescents who have mild to severe burns. Additional members of the burn team include advanced practice providers; nurses; physical, occupational and hand therapists; dietitians; pharmacists; social workers; psychologists; and pastoral counselors.
Wound Care
If you have a wound that won’t heal from an injury, burn, constant pressure or other complications, our wound care specialists apply advanced techniques and technologies to promote healing.
Our doctors believe in building strong relationships with you and your family as we work together on a care plan to treat hard-to-heal wounds. We may consult with other physicians, imaging, physical therapy, psychological counseling, nutrition services, or respiratory therapy to help treat difficult wounds.
